Dakota had her puppies June 3rd! There are 4 black and 4 yellows. I do not have all the names picked out yet … and to tell the truth, I’m open for suggestions 🙂 We started naming each litter with a letter of the alphabet awhile back and I am now at X! That means I need to come up with 8 names that start with an X … and that is a bit of a chore 🙂
There are 3 yellow girls and 1 yellow boy.
The black puppies are just the opposite, with 3 males and one female!
One of the black males has a little white stripe on his chest.
The yellow boy. My brother Sam loves him and tells me that if we needed another male around, this fellow would be the one!
It has been a bit of a chore trying to keep these precious puppies cool and comfortable in our hot middle TN weather. Yesterday I gave them all baths and then had Lydia hold them. I was surprised when I walked upstairs with #3 to find her sprawled out on our bed with the puppies, encircled with her pillow pets and books, with a flan blowing on them!
She definitely figured out how to make them comfortable!
At this point all of the black puppies are available but we think all of the yellows are reserved. We’re still working through the waiting list so we should be able to confirm that with next weeks’ pictures.
